The AI-enabled Cellphone Detection feature enables customers to monitor and reduce phone usage.
The DCRCAM monitors the driver by continuously looking for a cellphone in hand while the vehicle is being driven. When detected, a small toast widget appears on the right side of the screen and has a audible beep, alerting the driver.
Simultaneously, an alert is sent to the Fleet Motion application to notify management that cellphone use has occurred while driving.
A 20 second video clip can be requested in the Alerts to view the cellphone usage.
